Career Exploration – Assists individuals in making informed vocational choices. Employment Specialists introduce participants to one or more different jobs/careers in industries of their choice.

Vocational Evaluation and Assessment Services – Provides on and off-site evaluations that can serve as general assessments of skill and/or specific evaluation of ability to function within a given work environment. Utilizes interest inventories and personal interviews. A summary report is completed.

Situational Assessments – Provides a medium for career exploration when an individual is unsure of a vocational goal, an opportunity to confirm the appropriateness of an existing goal in a work setting, or the possibility of previewing the tasks of a job so that an individual can clarify a job goal. No cost to the employer. A summary report is complete.

Job Placement Services – Provides assistance to individual in securing competitive employment in their pre-determined area of skill and interest. Job leads, information and planning for the interview, feedback from the interview, transportation to/from the interview, job counseling and support. Job coaches and employment specialists are available.

Community Employment Services (Long-Term Supported Employment) – Provides paid work opportunities at a variety of community-based locations for small groups of individuals unable to maintain employment without full-time, long-term support. Work skill development, transportation services, socialization skills training, and instruction in adult daily living skills.

Supported Education – Assists individuals who wish to participated in post-secondary education offering leading to opportunities for employment in a chosen field. Educational counselors may be available and maximizing natural supports is encouraged.

Individually Developed Employment Assistance (IDEA) – Provides individuals with psychiatric disabilities an array of services leading up to and including competitive employment. Assistance with job seeking skills, job development and placement, and coaching services. Resources from other programs (i.e. vocational evaluations) also available.

Senior Persons Involved in Community Enrichment – Provides retirement activities and support for individual who have made or are in the process of making the transition from work to retirement. Individuals are assisted in making connections with senior centers and acitivities in the community.

Computer and Office Support Skills Training – Provides hands-on training in a variety of computer applications and clerical functions. The program is designed to prepare individuals for competitive employment in the clerical/computer fields or to assess their potential to benefit from further training and/or education toward employment in the field.

Job Seeking and Retention Skills Training – Provides instruction in attaining and retaining employment. Emphasis is placed on the methods employed in the job search, the resume, and the interview. A curriculum has been developed to cover the full spectrum of job seeking skills.

Job Coaching – Supports the successful transition to and retention of employment. The job coach assists individuals in learning new tasks and adjusting to the work environment OR provides support outside of the workplace.

Greenbrier – Provides a small group of individuals with paid work opportunities in a horticulture setting. Work skills development, transportation services, socialization skill training and instruction in attending to adult daily living skills.
