Leeway, Inc.

Leeway has recently expanded development of supported housing and complementary support services. Our objective is to help persons living with AIDS who have benefited from medical and pharmaceutical advances to remain on the path to a healthy, independent life upon discharge from in-patient care. By extending Leeway's role in the continuum of care into housing and housing related services it is expected that consumers will be at less risk for substance abuse and other recurring problems. Leeway began its post in-patient initiatives with 5 scattered house units in collaboration with the Corporation for Independent Living. This provided the basis for our increasing expanding and comprehensive housing efforts now under way.

Residents who have left Leeway are able to meet monthly with Leeway's Alumni Society, which provides lunch, discussion, support, life skills and related activities.
